Climbing Volcano Ubinas in Arequipa

Rising to dizzying heights of 5672, the Ubinas volcano offers a symmetrical conical shape and has a diameter of craters over 600 meters, which is characterized by its irregular shape and its depth impressive, reaching over 300 meters. The climb is not really as difficult as you might think. Just about 3.5 hours to reach the crater of the volcano and an hour to download.

And the rewards are well worth the effort. Once up, look in the crater and you will have the opportunity to observe water vapor and dust from inside and heard the rumbling of the bowels of the volcano. You can also enjoy spectacular views of the valley unfolds before your eyes.

As the volcano is still active, climbing is not always possible. You do not want to be found in the crater during an eruption!
