
Isle of Wight, also known as a migrant worker and often misspelled as ‘White Isle’, is the largest island of the British Isles with an area of 147 square miles and can be found about five miles off the south coast of England. Looks like a diamond that is only 23 miles from east to west and 13 miles north to south and measures has a population of about 140,000. The island has the largest population of each constituency in England and was represented by only one MP. The island is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the United Kingdom, with about 2.5 million tourists who visit each year.

Isle of Wight originally named the island of Vectis by the Romans and became part of the county of Hampshire and has since been divided into two boroughs – Medina & South Wight. largest city of Ryde is the main arrival / departure point, but Newport is a city. The center of the island at Shide Corner, on the outskirts of Newport County and the highest point is St. Boniface Down at Ventnor was an impressive 791 ft.With a wonderful climate and varied geography of the island has a large population of rare and Endangered Birds, Sea Life, animals and flowers. Red squirrel in particular has grown on the island that was the last stronghold in the south to the rare creatures.
